Comment from Professor Yuka Nakajima
A summery salad made with smoked octopus.
A refreshing grapefruit-based dressing,
The crisp and refreshing "Echigo Ginjo" sake pairs very well with it.
Behind the Scenes of Smile Stadium Filming
This year's Tanabata festival saw an unseasonal typhoon approaching, resulting in a special warning being issued for Okinawa.
There was a forecast for heavy rain in Niigata City this morning, but perhaps it was due to the capricious nature of the rainy season front.
The photoshoot took place under blazing sun in extremely hot and humid conditions.
With so many lights on, the room felt like a sauna...
But Professor Nakajima won't allow us to turn on the air conditioner...
Emily and the director were both on the verge of collapse...
The reason for not turning on the air conditioner is something like, "It's the first time this season ♡."
No matter what everyone says, no matter how much I sweat
The teacher who saw it through to the end is admirable in a way.
Now, for the dish, we have octopus, a summer staple.
I'm so glad that smoking food is this easy to do at home.
The drinks we had together during the photoshoot were newly released red and green local sake cocktails.
The sake that connects Tokyo and Niigata is like Orihime and Hikoboshi meeting on Tanabata.
We encourage you all to try a local sake cocktail to create some wonderful summer memories!
