Discover Yoshinogawa's History
The exhibition area introduces Yoshinogawa's more than 470-year history and the brewing culture that lives on in our hometown of Settaya. Through old photographs, labels, sake vessels, brewing tools and other materials preserved at the brewery, you can trace the work of days gone by. A projector also shows brewing scenes and nostalgic advertisements. Take your time to enjoy the history of craftsmanship Yoshinogawa has inherited and the culture this land has nurtured.
Savor Everything Yoshinogawa
At the SAKE Bar, you can casually enjoy the full range of Yoshinogawa flavors, from our classic sake to limited editions available only here. Compare small pours of sake that catch your interest to find a favorite, or choose a glass to suit the season or your mood. We also offer snacks featuring local Nagaoka flavors and Yoshinogawa sake lees. Feel free to explore your own sake and food pairings. Non-alcoholic amazake is also available, so drivers, children and families can relax and enjoy their visit.
Settaya Craft Brewery
Inside the museum is a craft beer brewery, home to Yoshinogawa's Settaya Craft. Brewed with the same water as our sake and with rice koji as an adjunct, it has the gentle, clean taste you would expect from a sake brewery. Through the glass, depending on the brewing schedule, you may be able to watch beer being brewed. Settaya Craft can be enjoyed at the SAKE Bar and purchased at the shop as a souvenir.
