At the Nagaoka Festival Grand Fireworks Display in 2019,
Today, the Yoshinogawa's three-foot diameter fireworks will be launched.

For four years since the commemorative tournament marking the 70th anniversary of the end of the war,
Praying for remembrance, reconstruction, and lasting peace,
We launched three consecutive 3-foot diameter fireworks.
This three-foot diameter firework will be the only one of its kind to be fired this year.

It's been 471 years since we started brewing sake.
Yoshinogawa is starting anew.

Learning from the past to understand the present.
To stay the same, we must change.

Let's start from the basics.

We'll start by growing the rice ourselves.
And what kind of alcohol did our predecessors want to deliver?
What kind of value will we provide through alcohol?

A new visitor facility.
A facility that encourages rethinking the relationship between Yoshinogawa and its customers.
In the past, of course, it was only distributed locally.
A business where you can see the face of each individual customer.
The face disappears as the amount of food increases.
This facility reaffirms our commitment to being there for our customers.

In the course of such initiatives,
We have decided to return to the basics with our three-foot diameter fireworks.

This doesn't mean reducing something that has grown larger back to its original size.
What the three-foot diameter fireworks have given to the people of Nagaoka.
And from now on, it's something we can share with people all over the world.
I want to go back to basics and think things through properly.

Nagaoka's summer is also marked by a grand fireworks display.
This is not just a festival; it is a festival of remembrance, reconstruction, and prayer for lasting peace.
We want to capture the unique charm of Nagaoka.
